<h3 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #ffffff;”><strong><em>Jesus</em></strong><strong> is the way, the truth and the LIFE (John 14:6)</strong></span></h3>
<p style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #ffffff;”>The movement and series of events <em>This is the day!</em> set out on its way 20 years ago with the vision that in the future, <em>one </em>day would gather together Christians from Hungary and Europe in the largest and most significant stadium in the region – The People’s Stadium – expressing their togetherness across denominational boundaries.  Our events have been attended by hundreds of thousands of people from the whole Carpathian Basin in recent years, and more than 30 nations have been represented on the stage.</span></p>
<p style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #ffffff;”>We believe that it is the time for gathering, God wants to gather his people together from every age group, nation and denomination. We have the faith that the large scale worship event to be held on 18 July 2020 could be the greatest joint cry to heaven in the 21st century so far in the newly built Puskás Arena. We want to worship our Creator as one voice and to pray for our nation, as well as to bear witness to Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life.</span></p>
<p style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #ffffff;”>Our goal is to dedicate ourselves to God more deeply and we believe that we can thus have a great influence on our environment. We should like to strengthen our brothers and sisters, to have them bear witness to the love of God with their lives. The gospel will sound forth, which gives <em>life </em>to all those who sincerely seek the Lord. We long to draw Christians into closer unity, encouraging them to accept one another. We should also like to bear visible witness to the world that we are characterised by mutual love and acceptance. Despite the differences between denominations, we desire to be together, as were Jesus’ disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration, when they saw no one else, just Him alone. We have the expectation that this will be an occasion where the glory of the Lord Jesus can shine forth amongst us.</span></p>
<p style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #ffffff;”>If you can identify with these goals, please join us and attend the event, invite your family members and your friends! We invite all those who are interested from Hungary, as well as the whole of Europe, who desire a renewed <em>life </em>and are open to unity in Christ.</span></p>

<h3 style=”text-align: center;”>JESUS BIBLE GIFT</h3>

We will give everyone who visits our jubilee event a special gift. We will give out a truly unique Jesus Bible, which has been produced expressly for this occasion. The speciality of this Bible is that Jesus’ words are highlighted in red, and there is an expository commentary by Louie Giglio on the individual chapters. We believe it will be of great help to many in understanding how the books of the Old and New Testament are linked together in a single great story, while pointing uniformly to Jesus, the Son of God our Saviour. A further speciality of the publication is that, before each Biblical book, there is a QR code; each of these contains a link to an online worship song, the message of which is associated with that of the given book. The Bible will be handed out at the end of the event to every visitor.

The new stadium is the most beautiful building, and it was wonderful to see it filled with football fans. It was good to go in there and see what this venue looks like, and imagine the place filled with worshippers from all over Hungary and surrounding nations. The sound coming from the stadium will be incredible. It will be an inspiring day! Someone said earlier this year that this stadium is made for worship, so I will encourage everyone not to miss this very special day. When God’s people gather and when you have this incredibly large assembly of people worshipping, the sound of all these different voices is the most beautiful and inspiring sound. People who come that day will have a real sense of God’s presence because God loves to be with people who are praising him. A whole generation of people will be motivated and inspired to go out and serve God. There will be people there who have never been inside a church before, and so I’m praying they will be touched by the presence of God and their lives will be changed. It will be an event that touches people on so many different levels. It will be very inspiring, prophetic and a very special day.

It’s wonderful that you have persevered for so long with the vision. The realisation of this dream in the arena will be truly inspirational. As this arena was being built, this vision was built up in you, too, and in July we can all be there to praise the name of Jesus and to confess that He is Lord over the nations. I believe that God wants to gather people together so we can sing and praise Him together, and simply just have a good time in fellowship with one another. Where there is unity among the various nations, there we can truly see the glory of God. So I trust that we will see the presence of God in the stadium!

The Hungarian people must discover God, and then we can rejoice in God. One of my old songs is about this: “You have called us to a feast, Jesus, to contemplate your glorious face, to turn our hearts away from the transient, and gaze on the eternal.” This is the day! has the great role of demonstrating: yes, we can celebrate God. As we were there at the opening match of the Puskás Arena last autumn, a desire was conceived in me, that at least to the same extent, just as loudly, just as much from the heart, we must praise Him on 18 July. Loudly and full of conviction. For me, the greatest thing is: celebrating God, being at liberty in Him, being honest before him. And part of this honesty is that I can be there before God weeping, but dancing with outstretched arms too.

I expect that God, just as before, will bear great witness this time, too. This does not depend on the dimensions, of course, but even so this will be a story on a European scale. There are many things which are not physically visible; the Bible calls these sowing. We often make the mistake of sowing the seed, which falls on the soil, and we feel that nothing has happened. Of course it has! We sowed! Something will happen. The law of sowing and reaping is irrevocable, and This is the day! is already enjoying the harvest in many areas. It arouses the interest of many both for and against. I trust that, after Arena 2020, the constant criticisers will fall silent. Even if they do not accept what we are doing as good, at least they will not oppose it.

Hogy mit várok ettől a „nagy” alkalomtól? Egységet, szeretetet,
barátságot, Szentlélek-kiáradást, tüzet, megtéréseket, gyógyulásokat,
szabadulásokat, tehát mindent, ami akkor szokott történni, amikor Isten
országa valahol megjelenik. Számomra ez az egész egy hatalmas tanítás
Istentől, hogy hogyan munkálkodik. Először elülteti a magot, gondozza,
öntözgeti, aztán elvárja, hogy hitbeli cselekedeteket hajtsunk végre
annak érdekében, hogy kifejezzük azt, hogy bízunk Benne. Aztán jön az,
amit a magunk erejéből képtelenek lennénk megvalósítani. Az ország
legnagyobb stadionjában dicsérhetjük a Teremtőt!

A sátán borzasztó
erővel munkálkodik a világban, ezért alaposan oda kell figyelni az
ifjúságra. Hálás vagyok, hogy az Ez az a nap! a szívén viseli ezt az
